ADOPT-A-COMMUNITY
THE LOVE LAUDERDALE ADOPT-A-COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER PROJECT
The Fort Lauderdale Community Development Corporation is dedicated to providing our residents with safe, clean, and aesthetically pleasing living spaces. This includes:
- Enhancing the community through both civic engagement and beautification projects.
- Increasing volunteer opportunities for groups, organizations, and corporations.
Through this program, volunteers will have the opportunity to:
- Participate in community development projects such as landscaping, painting, and repairs at our affordable housing properties.
- Enhance our residents’ quality of life, while fostering a sense of pride within the community.
Benefits to Volunteer Groups Supporting This Project:
- A Love Lauderdale Adopt-A-Community Program recognition sign with the group’s name on the adopted rental property.
- Highlighted on Fort Lauderdale Community Development Corporation website and Newsletter.
- Recognition of groups on our social media pages following project.
Requirements of the Love Lauderdale Adopt-a-Community Volunteer Project:
- Volunteer group commits to a two-year (2) adoption period.
- Volunteer group leads two (2) beautification projects each year, with the option to facilitate. One of those projects should be a program service for residents.
